Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in? Purana Nidhi uses your phone number. Enter your number, tap send, and enter the one-time password (OTP) you receive by SMS.

How do I do japam? Open the Japam screen and tap the Mahadeva button each time you chant the divine name. Your count is saved automatically and builds your daily streak (108 chants a day earns the day). You can also chant right from the Home Screen widget, and pick your favourite Shiva and flower images while you chant.

How does the leaderboard work? Every japam you chant adds to your total. The monthly leaderboard ranks all devotees by their count, so you can see the top chanters and stay inspired. Premium members can also see their own exact rank and the devotees just above and below them.

Can I use the app on more than one device? Yes. Sign in with the same phone number on any iPhone or iPad and your japam count, streak, favourites, history, and Premium membership all stay in sync. For your account's security, only one device stays signed in at a time — signing in on a new device signs you out of the previous one.

What does the Premium membership include? Premium unlocks all Puranas, Stotras, Shorts, extra Japam content, neighbour-rank details, and an ad-free experience. Plans are available as 3-month, 6-month, and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions.

How do I restore a purchase? Open the app, go to the Premium / paywall screen, and tap “Restore Purchases”. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription? On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Purana Nidhi → manage or cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

How do I ask Guruvu Garu a question? Open “Dharma Sandehalu” in the app, type your question, and submit it. You'll be notified when Guruvu Garu answers.
