2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account details — your name / username and phone number, which you use to register and sign in.
• Email address — if you use Sign in with Apple. If you choose to hide your email, Apple provides us with a private relay email address instead of your real one.
• Profile photo — an optional picture you upload from your photo library or capture with your camera. It is stored on our servers to display your profile.
• Content you create — for example your japam (chant) count, streak, and questions you submit.

2.2 Sign in with Apple

We offer Sign in with Apple as a login method. When you use it, Apple shares a unique identifier and, on first sign-in, the name and email you approve. We use this only to create and manage your account.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — how you interact with the App (screens viewed, features used, session information).
• Device and identifiers — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
• Diagnostics — crash reports and performance data that help us find and fix problems.
• Push notification token — a token that lets us send you notifications (you can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time).

2.4 Camera and Photos

With your permission, the App accesses your camera and photo library solely so you can set a profile picture. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Camera / Photos.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To provide core features — stotras, puranas, shorts, japam counter, streaks, and the leaderboard.
• To display your profile picture and username.
• To send push notifications such as daily reminders (with your consent).
• To analyze usage, diagnose crashes, and improve the App's stability and features.
• To process subscriptions and donations (see Section 5).
• To comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Public Information (Leaderboard)

The App includes a leaderboard that displays your username and japam count to other users. Do not use a username you wish to keep private. Your phone number, email, and other personal details are never shown on the leaderboard.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Donations

• Subscriptions are processed by Apple through in-app purchase. We never receive or store your payment card details; Apple handles all billing. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.
• Donations are processed by Razorpay. Your payment details are entered into and handled by Razorpay; we do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• with the service providers listed above, to operate the App;
• as public leaderboard information, as described in Section 4;
• when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud or abuse;
• in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), with notice to you.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. We retain certain data longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. Diagnostic and usage data are generally kept for a shorter period.

9. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App: Open Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, username, japam count, streak, and leaderboard entry from our servers and cannot be undone.

You may also email puraananidhi@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. We may need to retain limited information where we have a legal obligation to do so.

10. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls provided by our infrastructure partners. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information is stored and processed on Google (Firebase) servers, which may be located outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, it remains subject to appropriate safeguards and this Privacy Policy.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the App, or by contacting us at the email below.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App.
